SCHNAPPI CLUB:
There are still limited vacancies on Mondays & Saturdays.
At Schnappi Club we are currently learning a lot of different new exciting songs. Recently we have also used our instruments again. Now that we are finished with the Indians and clothes, we are also looking forward to talk about different subjects of some popular German books, eg “Pippi Langstrumpf”.

KINDY:
Miss Sandra is saying “Guten Tag” to all children who are joining German lessons at several kindys at the northern part of the coast. Next to the preschool groups we have now also quite a few senior kindy groups learning happily German each week.
We have recently learned everything about clothes with the help of “Baby King Kong”, the little gorilla monkey who wants to get dressed. Also we learned about naming the different body parts while learning another new song.
As singing and dancing is anyway an important part of our German lessons I have recently encouraged the preschool children to come up and do some solo singing in a small group of 3-5 which has been really successful and lovely to watch.
I hope that all little students enjoy their German lessons with Schnappi ,the crocodile!.
SCHOOLCHILDREN:
This term our school
children have started the second part of the Tamburin book series. We
are currently reading, talking and writing a lot about the
“Zirkus” (circus) and learn lots of new structures and tools to improve
the German language.

German Lessons Toddlers and Pre-schoolers
Schnappi Club, a special language learning programme for preschoolers,
offers children from 3 years the chance of learning German in a happy and relaxed atmosphere incorporating music, dance, craft, educational games and more.
Our programme is designed to help kids to pick up German conversational skills.
Bilingual kids reap the benefits: A child’s brain is designed to pick up more than one language quickly and easy during their early years! Research indicates that learning a second language results in better performances at school, superior problem solving skills and greater creativity.
The Schoolchildren group is catering for those children who have already gained some prior knowledge of the German language, either through Schnappi club or their individual family background. In a small group the children learn how to write and read German, doing conversational exercises plus lot’s of educational language games.
Schoolchildren will meet from next term on every Monday afternoon at 4.15pm.
All classes are taught by Sandra Haselhorst, a certified native German Kindergarten teacher. We also offer German lessons for children in childcare centres at the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
