SCHNAPPI CLUB:
I’m welcoming all Schnappi Club members back in 2008. This term we will learn a lot about animals from Africa, but also repeat the farm animal names.
There will be a lot of exciting, subject related craft in every lesson, eg. “Tiger”masks, “Elefanten”, etc and a few new games and songs to keep learning interesting.
At the end of term 1, we will enjoy the Easter time with the “Osterhase” (Easter bunny) and “Ostereier” decoration (Easter eggs).
Schnappi is commencing back:
Monday, 4th February 2008, 9 am
Saturday, 2th February 2008 9.30 am
New families who are interested in Schnappi Club , please put your name on my waiting list as I consider to add another group on Saturday.

KINDY:
Miss Sandra is saying “Guten Tag” to all new children who are joining German lessons at several kindys at the northern part of the coast. Next to the preschool groups there will be also quite a few senior kindy groups starting to learn German!
The first few weeks we will learn some basic German songs and phrases. Also we will learn about some farm animals and the basic colours.
I hope that all little students will enjoy their German lessons with Schnappi the crocodile!
SCHOOLCHILDREN:
A new year for our little
school children group, who are approaching the end of their first book
quickly. Naturally there will be next to the worksheets also a lot of
other materials (games, stories, colour in…) and for the younger ones
also some subject related craft.See you all on February 4th, same time

German Lessons Toddlers and Pre-schoolers
Schnappi Club, a special language learning programme for preschoolers,offers children from 3 years the chance of learning German in a happy and relaxed atmosphere incorporating music, dance, craft, educational games and more.
Our programme is designed to help kids to pick up German conversational skills.
Bilingual kids reap the benefits: A child’s brain is designed to pick up more than one language quickly and easy during their early years! Research indicates that learning a second language results in better performances at school, superior problem solving skills and greater creativity.
The Schoolchildren group is catering for those children who have already gained some prior knowledge of the German language, either through Schnappi club or their individual family backround. In a small group the children learn how to write and read German, doing conversational exercises plus lot’s of educational language games.
Schoolchildren will meet from next term on every Monday afternoon at 4.15pm.
All classes are taught by Sandra Haselhorst, a certified native German Kindergarten teacher. We also offer German lessons for children in childcare centres at the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
